Our favourite is Surfers Paradise beach - here you can learn to surf, dive and go on some amazing water sporting tours.

But if relaxation is more your thing the beach has amazing sand to lay a towel down and chill out.

This man-made cave in the rainforest is designed to be a sanctuary for the critically endangered glow worm, only found in Australia and New Zealand. The conservation efforts by the staff are admirable and the worms produce a remarkable sight in the pitch black cave.

Although normally only bioluminescently glowing at night, do not worry ,the Tamborine cave has an artificially reversed night cycle meaning you can see this amazing spectacle over lunch and do not have to worry about a midnight trek through the rainforest.

The Gold Coast is famous for it’s theme parks. Less than an hours drive away is Seaworld; where you can learn about both native and exotic marine animals but also enjoy rides, exhibits and shows. Find out more at:

Thrill seekers however will want to discover the WarnerBros. Movie World and Wet'n'wild. The former has a wide range of attractions; from adrenaline pumping rollercoasters and unforgettable experiences to parades and carousels for the kids. Find out more at:

If it's a nice day however Wet'n'wild (Australia's number 1 water park) is a necessity for anyone visiting the Gold Coast. Boasting some extreme water rides and leisurely pools it is a great day out for the whole family. Find out more at:

Our campground has many walking tracks connected to it, that you are able to explore, soaking up all the beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife Mt Nimmel Lodge. Or head up to Springbrook national park and check out the waterfalls.
